Driving on the left

I want to master stick shifts & driving on the left in England, I do.

But every time I see this,

I feel like this.

haha, i totally know the feeling! most of my last trips involved driving on the wrong side of the road - talk about overwhelming!

Hi Natalie - I KNOW! It's like developing driving-dyslexia...Glad you survived in one piece :)

If/when you do finally master both, I'll be in total awe of your achievement. I don't even drive here in Italy but not because I'm afraid of the crazy drivers, but because I'm afraid of what I would do to a crazy driver that cut me off. That's one bad habit that followed me from the US - road rage!

Haha - Rowena, I'm sure I never ever will master either - I'm so hopeless! And I think it's braver that anyone even contemplates driving in Italy, let alone does it. Oh, confession, a small streak of road rage definitely runs in my family :-) (especially the gals)

stick shift, easy if the clutch isn't too short...had many a session of "peeling out" when I was learning. hope you can do it!

Aahh, I see! Thanks for dropping by and for the great tip! (The Brits also confusingly refer to the clutch as handbrake, I think, so if I wasn't already befuddled before... :)
