Julia Child's famous kitchen is now in the Smithsonian's Museum of American History. Wouldn't it be fun to see?
To make things more exciting, poet e.e. cummings lived on Irving St. too, across Julia Child's house! It was cool to walk by this sign one day. (Wasn't going to post it due to the graffiti, but oh well).
(To be really geeky, William James, pioneering psychologist & brother of novelist Henry James, also lived over at 95 Irving St.)
Have a great July 4th! In the spirit(s) of this post -- bon appetit, bon poetry reading, and bon deep thinking!

Did you not see the movie Julie & Julia? Meryl Streep played Julia beautifully and I loved all of the scenes that she did. As for the rest of the story....meh!
Oh, I wanted to!...Then everyone said it was, well, meh :-) Meryl Streep is great though - it's been Netflixed!
