Play with your food

What better time than pumpkin-carving season for food art? :)
by Saxton Freymann, from Play With Your Food
I'd love an Anna the Red bento box!
Carl Warner's foodscapes
Kevin Van Aelst
And pumpkins of course!

P.S. Many apologies to anyone I've been trying to follow (or trying to follow me) - I've had major problems with Blogger for ages! I have a new appointment with the computer doctor & hope everything works OK soon.

Oh my goodness. The cauliflower sheep are almost too cute to eat! What are their heads made of?! This is so much fun--definitely a good idea for a mom with kids who don't like to eat their vegetables!

The sheep are cute (and probably a great way to get kids to eat cauliflower) but the Calvin and Hobbes food piece is seriously impressive! I'd have such a hard time eating that one.

I am amazed how how the talent inside people comes out. These iamges are amazing. That flower looks real and as far as the pumpkin (or apple) carving, I am hopeless.

That is adorable! Maybe that is what I have to do to make my little once eat more. Sheep cauliflower for dinner! Yes:)

I'm bummed now that I won't be carving a pumpkin this year. Large carving pumpkins are not as readily available as they are in the states, and when they do appear on the produce shelves it's like a few days just before Halloween! Blah!

YES, you must go to Raku next time you're in DC! Definitely one of my favs and now, one of Nikki's too!
p.s. I just can't wait to try tea in the UK.. I think I might get a little snobby about it too once I try, but it sounds like I'll have good reason :)
