Easy way to dress up ice cream

Take chocolate, hazelnut, coffee and/or vanilla bean ice cream, top with fresh raspberries and drizzle with some Kahlua. Stick in a bonus Stroopwafel to nibble on. Nibble away!

P.S. Ice cream seems to (weirdly) taste better when the weather's colder...and the warming effects of Kahlua never hurt. :)

Great idea! I usually put ice cream in my coke, but this sounds definitely better.

Hope you're having an awesome week sweetie!

I love hazlenut anything. This might be a shocker but I've never tried Kahlua. Is it coffee flavored? I think it is and that's why - don't like coffee. Sounds like something my husband would enjoy though.

Interesting, because I like ice cream more in the colder weather too. It somehow seems too "heavy" in the really hot weather.
Can't wait to try this combination!

This is such a good idea! I typically don't add much to ice cream (I can be a bit of purist), but I'll have to try this combo.

Yum! I think I would take chocolate, hazelnut, AND coffee ice cream! I've never had stroopwafels before, but it sure looks good with that ice cream!

LOL...I always laugh at us Brits, heading down to the ice cream van on the coldest of days. You've made me realise that we're not nuts - we've just figured out that ice cream tastes better in winter!

I'm drooling looking at your photos ...mmmmm, I must get some Kahlua! You know...just in case... :D

Last Christmas a client gave us all a bottle if this, and as I was unloading my car guess what rolled out and dropped in front of me? This bottle. I still haven't replaced a bottle, but now your post adds it to my grocery list. Thanks Jude. :)

I'm experiencing the same -- eating more ice cream as it gets cold! Great idea about Kahlua. I've used Chambord on vanilla! And thanks for your lovely note on my blog... Looking forward to writing about some things I love, but it is always so nice to know that people enjoy reading! xo bb

I agree: the warming effects of Kahlua never hurt!
I like to drizzle it on A Lot of things when it's cold out.
