Thank you everyone for being so sweet about our job news - though I'm feeling guilty for calling London winters "un-fun"! There's so much to love in London...let us count thy ways...

these are great images for London, it's so easy to forget what is on your doorstep, I still haven't seen the grace kelly exhibition - on my todo list.
Only been to London once but this makes me want to go back :)
I'm only just hearing about your job news but must say that change is good! Be it a job, a new address or a weekend out of the month, change equals more fun and adventures (coming from a gal who considers finding the perfect mountain hiking boots as if it were like discovering the Holy Grail!).
I've never been in London, but I am going in december for some christmas shopping. I think that's also an awesome thing in London : )
oh i love london x
I love London. Really do.
I really want to visit London again, now that I'm a foodie ;)
Oh my goodness, dear! Your Fall photos in your last post looked SO beautiful! I'm in love with all the colors! Also, I love the little desserts you put up in this post. I would SO replace lunches with sweets if I were you. YUM!
One of my favorite places in all the world. I suppose my mother being from England is part of that. I can tell you, we don't get that varied street fashion here in Phoenix, not like that. So fun.
I really want to London!
Great images. It's so cool all these are in front of your door step. Especially the eye. Beautiful.
And yay you will be back in the states!!!!
I've never been to London, but these sure make me want to visit! Great post.

We moved just before the Grace Kelly exhibit - I was totally bummed! Waterloo bridge views are so lovely and Karen Milllen dresses are so fun!
Yeah I've had strange blogger problems too (on Chrome). Sometimes I can't even log in for a while!
This makes me want to book a ticket!
i'll take a winter in Londen!!!!
how i love my home town, london. how i miss those grey dismal winter days where the horizon is cut by diverse architecture and the streets are buzzing. believe me much more 'unfun' in agricultural flat endless horizoned northern france! aaargh...
Those treats look amazing! So gorgeous!
I love London too!!!! We were in spring there and I hope I can go back again soon!!!!!
Hugs,
Yvonne
What a wonderful assortment - ideal to forget about London winters ;-)
I adore English "High Tea" How fantastic is that, wish more places had that extravaganca. Used to work at the Bel Air hotel in L.A. a long time ago... and they had a wonderful American version:)

I wouldn't mind spending quite a bit of time there for the high teas alone!
Thanks so much everyone for these super-sweet comments about London! :)
Jude - now your comment on my blog makes sense! While it's true I never truly loved London, I did really come to like it a lot. I used to walk by Berdford Square every day:

They really add lungs and sanity to the city... And with all the Europeans and money flowing into the city has become so elegant. There's much to miss...
But then again New York is my love!

London is definitely calling!
yay to afternoon tea and those amazing street styles! :)
You choose such evocative images that make the post fun to read. There's a lot to love in London but I think even a Londoner would agree to winters being 'un-fun'.
