Karen Millen's minimalist luxe

Thanks for all your fun(ny) comments yesterday! Here's a positive London post (to atone :)). Ever since British Boy wanted to get me a dress from Karen Millen in Covent Garden (3-month anniversary gift), I've had a Millen soft spot.:) Everything's so minimalist-luxe this season.

P.S. The dress ploy must've worked, it'll be 5 years for us. ;)
P.P.S. Millen's suede over-the-knee boots get all the press attention, but I also like the below shoe (and dress)...
{Flower peep toe}
{Jewel hand-sewn bead dress}

I'd like to get a look at what looks like a very cool dress under that vest in the first shot.

BTW, thanks for your ULTRA sweet and HELPFUL comment! though it's unfortunate you had to go through it, i'm kind of glad to know that i'm not alone on this! it really does STINK to have to go back to the dorms. i'm definitely going to look into toaster ovens now...

Thanks for all your lovely comments! Millen originated in the UK, but the nice thing is they're in so many countries now...in case you want to indulge :)

I'll take those boots, and those little bow peep toes!! I am also loving the minimalist influence. I think it puts more emphasis on the person wearing the clothing. Thank you for sharing!

Karen Millen is divine! I used to drool in front of the shop's window during my London days. I could never afford the clothes on a publishing salary.

I usually like anything minimalist... especially interior design. I can see why the boots are getting all the attention, I think they are fab, I need a pair! gorgeous colour, too.
