Midweek music energy: Una Notte a Napoli

{Original YouTube clip here}
A romantic, fun love song - of angels, Naples and amore - by Pink Martini (saw them last week). The song seems so glam 70s Italian.
Probably because Pink Martini wrote it with Alba Clemente (above), a totally glamorous 70s Italian actress!

Fun fact: Pink Martini has played a multi-lingual repertoire from Carnegie Hall to Cannes - they sang in English, French, Italian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish & Turkish just in the concert I saw!
{We should all sashay down city streets dressed like this.}

  4. Is it me or does Pink Martini look like Anne Hathaway (or vice versa)?

  5. Okay you got me here because at first I thought you were referring to pinkmartini.it the homefurnishings website. I couldn't be more totally off the mark. But just to let you know of another martini in the news -- there is D&G's Martini Gold, which if that isn't enough of a clue, makes for some fancy shmancy toasting that I'll just have to try one of these days.

  12. I'm dancing in my chair! That must have been a crazy fun concert. The singer appears almost as glam' as Clemente. Is it just the one woman singing in all the languages in the concerts? Astonishing.
