Hampstead Heath, London

{The Heath inspired C.S. Lewis's The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe}
A dreamy place to stroll...

To run...

Fly a kite or take-in vistas of London...

{Kenwood House Museum, Hampstead Heath}
View art in a beautiful setting...

Even bathe in open-air ponds!

Or get lost (happens to me a lot) and daydream away.

P.S. While in Hampstead, don't forget the Hampstead crepe stand...
Or, if you fancy a pint, The Flask pub...

  5. C.S. Lewis is my daughter's favorite author - must see if she knew this little tidbit. What a place. Simply magical. I can see why it was so inspiring and have now put it on my places to visit next England trip. Thank you for sharing.

  7. How gorgeous! The Heath really would be a wonderful place to run... and get lost in thoughts! I love running through trails and away from the city, so that I could get away from the hustle and bustle of life. This looks like an awesome escape!

  8. Jaw-droppinly gorgeous. I would love to get on a plane right now and spend a whole week enjoying this beautiful location. That wood would be first on my list of places to visit -- and then I'd have to stop for a crepe, of course!
