Teapigs

I'm a big tea-drinker and love how it's getting easier to find more socially-conscious tea. UK-based Teapigs offers organic tea and incorporates an ethical scheme at the Pfunda Tea Estate, Rwanda.

The whole leaf selections are both classic (Earl Grey etc) and adventurous - care for chocolate flake tea (left) or popcorn tea? :)

They also have the funkiest tea accessories - the curvy and award-winning Eva teamaker looks like it's wearing a wetsuit! (I like it in red:)).

P.S. I used to think I couldn't afford organic food all the time, but then I experimented 1 month buying only organic - it lowered my food bill! Go figure!

  1. Got to love tea :)

And luckily the organic food is about as cheap as the rest here in Norway nowadays, and the selection keeps getting better and better!

  7. Loving that zippered tea cozy!
I am going to have to try a month of organic. I was alway under the impression that organic was so much higher in cost.
Love these photos, especially the first one.

  13. You already know i love tea. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that Jamaica was under the British umbrella for a while before gaining independence. We speak the Queen's English and we love tea:-) I also love that Eva teamaker too-the lines are also very sexy:-) Happy Wednesday! xx

But I just bought two new boxes of tea earlier today so I should probably wait a bit. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm always looking for new tea to try!

  33. I was in southern India at some tea estates -- loved it -- they are so beautiful, making the entire mountain look like topiary! Have you tried Postcard Tea, off Bond Street in London? A little gem of a shop, and you can always have a little pot and slice of cake while you're there... xo bb
