Teapigs

I'm a big tea-drinker and love how it's getting easier to find more socially-conscious tea. UK-based Teapigs offers organic tea and incorporates an ethical scheme at the Pfunda Tea Estate, Rwanda.

The whole leaf selections are both classic (Earl Grey etc) and adventurous - care for chocolate flake tea (left) or popcorn tea? :)

They also have the funkiest tea accessories - the curvy and award-winning Eva teamaker looks like it's wearing a wetsuit! (I like it in red:)).

P.S. I used to think I couldn't afford organic food all the time, but then I experimented 1 month buying only organic - it lowered my food bill! Go figure!

Got to love tea :)

And luckily the organic food is about as cheap as the rest here in Norway nowadays, and the selection keeps getting better and better!

That's interesting. I buy a lot of organic food as well. And I LOVE TEA! That's all I ever drink. Ok, ok, apart from the occasional Bellini :-D

wow, popcorn tea!? have you ever tried matcha green tea? It's a japanese tea with milk... SOO good!

Hey, it's great that buying only organic lowered your food bill! You must share how that happened! What did you buy?!

Loving that zippered tea cozy!
I am going to have to try a month of organic. I was alway under the impression that organic was so much higher in cost.
Love these photos, especially the first one.

What a gorgeous estate! I so love a good cup of tea. And you lowered your bill with organic? I'm going to have to try that -- I seem to spend WAY too much on food most weeks.

I am a coffee drinker first and foremost but I did check the specs for that popcorn tea....“Sugar Puffs in a cup”?...I likes the sound of that already, and the reviews were nothing but popcorn positive!

You already know i love tea. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that Jamaica was under the British umbrella for a while before gaining independence. We speak the Queen's English and we love tea:-) I also love that Eva teamaker too-the lines are also very sexy:-) Happy Wednesday! xx

You're talking to someone who is so obsessed with tea, I started my own tea company! Now I want to try the popcorn and chocolate flake tea. But I just bought two new boxes of tea earlier today so I should probably wait a bit. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm always looking for new tea to try!

I am right there with you on the tea. I can't go a day without it. How cool that you saved so much buying organic. I think the same thing in thinking it's expensive. Maybe I'll try it. Rats. I'm the last one. Great post.

Whoa what a scary and beautiful little curvy-teapot-in-a-wetsuit!
I wonder who in the world came up with that?

I was in southern India at some tea estates -- loved it -- they are so beautiful, making the entire mountain look like topiary! Have you tried Postcard Tea, off Bond Street in London? A little gem of a shop, and you can always have a little pot and slice of cake while you're there... xo bb
