Chocolate with a twist

{Dark chocolate with lavender from Haute-Provence}{Dark chocolate with Earl Grey tea}{Milk chocolate with hot masala}{Dark chocolate with crystallized ginger peel}
In case you feel like indulgent Belgian chocolate, but with a twist, anything by Dolfin is intensely tasty & amazing. (Other flavors include dark chocolate with mint leaves or Damascus rose).

  1. I once tried their assorted napolitan squares and was disappointed because there was one with cumin in it that enveloped all the other squares with its strong aroma :( I guess I should try to find some regular sized bars to try. :)

  7. Somebody had, or has had, a mean chocolate fix. That said, chocolate is one of those "sticky" areas where I am now hesitant to buy anything that is not fair trade produced. I really had no idea about the child slavery issues in cultivating cacao beans until recently. If only we lived in a perfect world eh? I do appreciate Dolfin's environmental philosophy!

  8. @Kat - yeah, try the bars next time :) They do *not* stint on the intensity of flavors! :)

    @Signe - I love their wrappers too (judging a book by its cover :)), but the stuff tastes great also!

    @kirstyb - thanks kirsty! :)

    @sam - thanks for dropping by

    @Ashley - hope you'll get a chance! :) Happen to love the unusual combinations!

    @Nicole - I think I may have tried all except the special editions, which are harder to find :) They are so yummy & I'm a chocoholic!

    @Gallery Gal - thanks! They can be dangerously addictive :)

    @The Alternative Wife - I love the unusual gourmet flavours! The more far out, the better too :)

    @Lisa - haha, I hesitated about the lavender too, but it's surprisingly nice with the dark chocolate! (As long as you don't have it back-to-back with, the pink peppercorn one, say :))

  13. Sigh...yet another way to feed my chocolate-tooth :) The lavender version sounds interesting (like it could be very good or very much like eating chocolate infused with potpourri :)) xo Cat
