Kayaking in DC

Now that it's warm, a group of us rented kayaks and canoes on the Potomac River and took in lovely views.

Get baked

I'm not a big fan of the lines at that other Georgetown cupcake place, so indulge at baked & wired. Decadent cupcakes with lots of creamy frosting, plus coffee, tea etc (the "wired" side of the shop). The cupcakes are the size of your head.

When Pigs Fly

When Pigs Fly has some of the most delicious, delicious artisan breads. Makes me feel like I've been eating faux-bread all these years. I'd live in Boston's Brookline (or by their other shops), just to be near such doughy goodness.
